The PocketBible Amplified Bible (AMP) 1.0 is a software plug-in program for the PocketBible for Windows application suite that helps to make studies easier by providing an easy organizer and library for those studying the Holy Bible to keep their collections of Bibles, books, and study papers and notes, together. This version of the Amplified Bible is one of those in the collection that users can add to their library.
PocketBible Amplified Bible (AMP) 1.0 explains and expands the meanings of text in the Holy Bible by placing amplification in parenthesis and brackets after key words, and phrases. Readers gain a better understanding of what the original Greek and Hebrew listeners understood. The program also features italics to highlight words not originally in the text, CAPITALS, to show names and personal pronouns referring to the Deity, footnotes and cross-references indicating related passages and fulfillment of prophecies etc.
The PocketBible Amplified Bible (AMP) 1.0 is free of personal interpretations and independent of denominational prejudice. The program features over 2,500 footnotes with concise historical and archaeological information, all searchable within the PocketBible for Windows host program that this plug-in requires. |
